I’ve been doing a lot of thinking about the prophecies last Saturday. Well, okay, what Echo did technically wasn’t “prophecy” because it was about the past, not the future, but I sort of lump it in the same category. I’ve been discussing the visions with some of the other explorers, and a few ideas have arisen.

Well, today was certainly a huge day! Apparently, after the All Guilds Meeting, a woman named Madame Sophia showed up and claimed to be a psychic. Jules knows her–he tells me he met her a decade ago and that he thinks she’s legit. I have a hard time believing in psychics, but Jules and Echo seem to take her words pretty seriously, so I will too. This is what she said:

Tenny’s Open House went great. I know because I read the log, not because I was there–I had obligations on the surface. It’s kind of a bummer, really. I helped lug all that equipment around and get it set up, and then I didn’t even get to be there at the official opening.

Just met a newcomer to the cavern, and he’s a doctor. Dr. Tiernan Quinland, MD, to be exact. He tells me he’s set up a clinic in one of the hoods for injured explorers. This is such a good idea–why has no one done this before?

Can’t believe it’s been two years. I could blame my absence on almost dying and my long recovery, but the truth is that I’d stopped going down to the cavern months before my hospitalization. Still, in my defense, it’s hard to walk around D’ni when you can’t…well, walk. And it was months before I could do that again.
